1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the WavType application ("Software"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Software.

2. License

WavType grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for personal or commercial purposes, subject to these Terms. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Software.

3. Account & API Keys

Some features require a WavType account and/or a valid API key. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and API keys. You agree not to share, sell, or redistribute your API key or account access.

4. Audio & Data

WavType records audio from your microphone solely for the purpose of speech-to-text transcription. Audio is processed in real-time and sent to a third-party transcription provider. WavType does not store your audio recordings on its servers. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary consent to record audio in your jurisdiction.

5. Pro Subscription

WavType offers a paid Pro subscription with additional features. Payments are processed through Stripe. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing cycles are displayed at the time of purchase. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account page. Refunds are handled in accordance with Stripe's policies.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Software for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to circumvent license restrictions or authentication
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Software
• Interfere with or disrupt the Software's services or servers

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. WavType does not warrant that the Software will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, WavType and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Modifications

WavType reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the application or website.

10. Termination

WavType may suspend or terminate your access to the Software at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your license to use the Software is immediately revoked.
